From November through December 2008, UGMK had been securing steel products for the constructions of a bridge at the entrance to Dnepr Harbour, connecting the district of Podol with Rybalsky peninsula (Havansky Bridge). There were over 550 tons of steel products dispatched for that project, plates and angles in particular.
The bridge extends for about 318 m, and its traffic capacity is 1.7 thousand cars per hour. The traffic over the new bridge can move only in single direction, from Pochtovaya square towards Obolon.
The construction is a part of the Podol-Voskresensky river crossing complex.
The Havansky Bridge was opened in October 2010.
